This was the most relaxing Saturday we have had in along time. We got up and I cooked breakfast then we hung out for a bit around the house and I did some cleaning up and then we went out to Mom's for a bit so a guy could look at the truck to see if he wanted to buy it or what. Ending up he didn't but he did tell Kris that if he would do something and it worked then he would suggest a transmission flush but if that didn't then we should think about just scrapping it. So right now we are just praying for guidance on what to do and Kris will take my car to work for now. No big deal to me. I don't go anywhere most days and Mom is retired so if anything she can take me. So then we came home and I made an apple crisp for tomorrow night at Church but I did make a small bowl of it and we took that to Moms for dinner. So we went out there and Kris fished till dark and Mom fed us chili followed by the apple crisp. It was super yummy! So I guess I'll take the big pan to Church! HA! After fishing, eating and helping Mom rearrange her living room we came home and I made corn casserole and bathed Paisley. Speaking of bathing her, its like bathing a wild cat. There was a lot of screaming and clawing when I tried to wash her hair. Anyways she is ready for Church. Tomorrow night is Pastor Appreciation and Thanksgiving Supper. It is usually always a fun evening of picking on the Pastor and usually some tears shed too. Our Pastor is a wonderful man. I love that he doesn't worry about stepping on toes. He leads his flock with what God lays on his heart no matter then topic. Its such a blessing. So I am looking forward to tomorrow night and I am hoping that we can show him once again what a blessing to us he is.
